There is a difference between grilling and
barbequing to purists, so we've decided to name this BBQ
& Grilling Recipes. Most of the recipes are grilling,
but I think most people
recognize BBQ as something that is done outdoors over
charcoal, or propane powered grills. For those of you that don't know the difference,
barbequing is cooking over charcoal or wood at low temperatures
for a long period of time. Grilling is the searing of meat
over direct heat with high temperatures for short periods
of time. To me, its just different cooking times and temperatures.
We've put all of these BBQ recipes together that are
scattered throughout the site in one place so it's easy to
find. They either deal with actual grilling, or a BBQ
sauce,
Lesley's Top Secret Barbeque Sauce.
Happy grilling!!!
I highly recommend this thermometer when cooking something
large. It's ideal to use when smoking for long periods of
time
As seen on BBQ University, this spatula is huge, for fish,
or anything else that is delicate and needs lots of
support when moving or flipping
