Flour Tortillas

3-tbsp lard or shortening
2-cups flour
1-tsp salt
1/2-cup warm water

Cut lard into flour and salt
Sprinkle with water until moist
Divide into 12
Shape into balls and brush with lard
Cover and let sit for 20 minutes
Roll balls on floured surface into 6-inch circles
Heat an ungreased 8-inch skillet over medium heat
Cook until edges are dry and the surface blisters, approx 2-minutes
Turn over and cook
Stack between wax paper
Cover with damp towel
