BREAD RECIPE:
Onion Mustard Buns

1-package (1/4oz) active dry yeast
¼-cup warm water
2-cups warm milk
3-tbsp dried minced onion
3-tbsp prepared mustard
2-tbsp vegetable oil
2-tbsp sugar
1 ½-tsp
6 to 6 ½-cups all-purpose flour


In a mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in water
Add milk, onion, mustard, oil, sugar, salt and 4 cups of flour
Beat until smooth
Add enough of the remaining flour to form a soft dough
Turn out onto floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minutes
Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top
Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about one hour
Punch down dough; divide into 24 pieces
Flatten each piece into a 3 inch circle
Place 1 inch apart on greased baking sheets
Cover and let rise until doubled, about 45 minutes
Bake at 350* for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown
Cool on wire racks

Yield: 2 dozen
