Canning seems to be related
more to the throwback era of the simple life, long before the
internet, long before colour TV, even long before black and white
TV (hey young people, can you imagine!), but it seems to continue
in this modern age. With internet access now common, recipes sites
are plentiful. The number of canning recipes available to everyone
has now greatly increased, all to everyone's benefit. Here at
Lesley's Recipe Archive, we're happy to share our
canning recipes, and
the recipes of others, to all. Please feel free to share your
canning recipes
with us so we can pass it along for everyone's benefit. Happy
canning!!! Submit your canning recipe

FYI
One of our visitors wrote us and asked if we
knew anything about making jams without sugar. She asked if we have ever used Pomona's
Pectin when making jam. We wrote back and told her we have never heard of it, because it
isn't available in our region. We told her to drop us a line with the results of her
experience and we'll post it for others. The following is what she wrote back
"Lesley, Pomona's Pectin worked great. The color isn't as bright as
when using sugar but the taste is wonderful, The jam sets up beautifully, and it keeps
fine. Pomona's Universal Pectin is
available in health food stores, or it can be ordered directly from them at P.O. Box 1083,
Greenfield, MA. 01302. I for one (& my family, are well pleased with it)! Take
Care"
