DESSERT
RECIPE:
Blueberry Bread Pudding
Pudding
8-cups eggbread, cut into 1" cubes
3-cups milk
1-cup granulated sugar
2-tsp vanilla
6-eggs, beaten
2-cups fresh blueberries, or raspberries |
Sauce
2-cups sour cream
1/3-cup packed brown sugar, or maple syrup |
Pudding
Preheat oven to 350*F
Butter a 9" square baking pan
Mix bread and milk thoroughly in a mixing bowl
Let stand for 30-60 minutes
Stir in remaining ingredients
Mix well
Pour into prepared pan
Bake 40-50 minutes or until set in the middle
Sauce
Prepare ahead or while pudding is baking
Combine sour cream and brown sugar, mixing well
Chill until using
Serve pudding warm and cover with sauce
