Chocolate Skor Ice Cream

(1 1/2-quart machine)

2-cups 1% milk
1-cup sugar
Dash of salt
3-oz semisweet chocolate
3-eggs beaten
3/4-cup whole milk
1/2-cup evaporated milk
1-tsp vanilla
1/2-cup Skor pieces

Combine 1% milk, sugar, salt and chocolate in a saucepan
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted and the mixture almost boils
Gradually stir about 1-cup of the hot mixture into the beaten eggs
Add the eggs to the remaining milk mixture
Cook and stir over low heat until slightly thickened (2 minutes)
Stir in whole milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla
Cover and refrigerate 2 hours
Pour into ice cream maker and freeze according to machine directions
After 30 minutes of churning, add the Skor pieces
