DESSERT RECIPE:
Cranberry Pecan Bars


Crust
2-cups all-purpose flour
1/2-cup granulated sugar
3/4-cup margarine

Topping
4-eggs
1-cup granulated sugar
1-cup corn syrup
3-tbsp margarine, melted
11/4-cups chopped pecans
3/4-cup coarse chopped fresh cranberries (or sweetened dried cranberries)
 

Crust
Combine all ingredients for crust until crumbly
Press firmly into a 13x9" cake pan sprayed with no-stick spray
Bake @ 350°F for 15-18 minutes or until lightly golden

Topping
Beat eggs, sugar, corn syrup and melted margarine together until blended
Stir in pecans and cranberries
Pour evenly over crust
Bake about for 40 minutes longer or until set and golden
Cool completely on wire rack
Cut into bars
