DESSERT RECIPE:
Lime Sherbet


4 1/4-cups sugar
1 1/2-cups lime juice
3-tbsp lemon juice
7 1/2-cups 1% milk
1/2-cup buttermilk
1-drop green food colouring optional


In a bowl, combine sugar, limejuice, and lemon juice until well blended
Gradually stir in milk, buttermilk, and food colouring if desired; mix well
Pour into ice cream maker and freeze according to machine directions
Make about 2 1/2-quarts
This recipe may need to be frozen in two separate batches
