Maple Pecan Crescent Twists

1/2-cup chopped pecans
1/4-cup sugar
1-tsp cinnamon
1/4-tsp nutmeg
2-cans Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
2-tbsp melted butter

1/2-cup icing sugar
2-tbsp maple syrup

Heat oven to 375*F
Combine pecans, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg
Separate dough into 8 rectangles; seal perforations
Brush each rectangle with the melted butter
Sprinkle 1-tbsp nut mixture evenly over each rectangle
Starting at long side, roll up each rectangle pinching edges to seal
With a sharp knife, cut one roll in half lengthwise, forming 2 strips
With cut side up, carefully overlap strips two times to form a twist
Press to seal cut ends together
Place on greased cookie sheet
Repeat with remaining dough
Sprinkle with any remaining nut mixture
Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden
Combine glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm rolls
