DESSERT
RECIPE: Pumpkin Pie
1/2-cup milk
1/2-cup light cream (or evaporated milk)
2-eggs
1-1/2-cups canned or fresh pureed pumpkin
2/3-cup brown sugar
1-tsp cinnamon
1/2-tsp salt
1/2-tsp nutmeg
1/2-tsp ginger
1/2-tsp ground cloves
1/4-tsp allspice
1-tsp vanilla extract
1-9" unbaked pie shell
Preheat oven to 425*
Put all ingredients into a blender and process
Pour into pie shell
Bake at 425* for 20 minutes, then reduce heat to 275*
Bake another 35-45 minutes longer or until knife inserted comes out clean
Cool to room temperature before serving
