MAIN DISH RECIPE:
Grilled Kabobs

Marinade: makes about 3/4-cup
1/4-cup cold coffee
1-tbsp garlic powder
1-tbsp onion powder
2-tbsp limejuice
3-tbsp vegetable oil
1-tbsp soy sauce
1-tbsp honey

Grape tomatoes
1/2-red pepper, cut into 1" pieces
1-small bag of pearl onions
1/4-cup Marsala wine (we use Sperone Cremovo, Marsala Fine - see below)
6 large button mushrooms, halved
1-12oz steak, cut into 1" pieces

Combine all marinade ingredients
Place cubed steak into a re-sealable bag
Pour in about 1/2-cup of the marinade; reserve remaining 1/4-cup, and then seal
Toss to evenly coat
Marinate in the fridge for 2-3 hours
Blanche the pearl onions about 30 seconds, then plunge into cold water
Cut off the root end of the onion and squeeze out onion
Place in a re-sealable bag; pour in the Marsala and seal
Toss to coat; leave marinating for 1 hour
Assemble kabobs on skewers
Place on a hot grill and baste all with reserved marinade
Grill about 3 minutes, turn over and grill another 3 minutes

Sperone Cremovo is more than just Marsala wine; it is a Marsala wine beverage. Its ingredients include Marsala wine, sugar, alcohol, frozen egg yolks, natural and artificial flavours.
