MAIN DISH RECIPE:
Tandoori Chicken


1-tbsp paprika
1-tsp coriander
1/2-tsp ground cardamom
1/2-tsp salt
1/2-tsp onion powder
1/2-tsp garlic powder
1/2-tsp cayenne powder
1/4-tsp ground cinnamon
1/4-tsp chili powder
Dash of turmeric

1-tbsp lemon juice
2-tbsp corn oil
1-2 1/2 lb broiler chicken, halved

Mix first 10 ingredients together
Stir in 2-tbsp water and lemon juice
Add corn oil
Brush mixture on all sides of the chicken; cover
Refrigerate for about 4 hours
Place chicken, skin side down, on rack in broiler oven
Broil 4 inches from heat source for 15-20 minutes
Turn chicken so the skin side is up
Broil for about another 15 minutes or until chicken is fork-tender and browned
