Tourtiere
(Meat Pie)
12oz ground pork
8oz ground beef
4oz onion, finely diced
2oz celery, finely diced
2oz leek, white only, diced
1 clove garlic
1/2oz chopped parsley
4oz potatoes, peeled, diced
2oz butter
Salt, pepper, nutmeg
Clove of cinnamon
1 egg   
1 lb pie pastry

Sauté meat in margarine without browning
Add veggies to meat
Let simmer, stirring occasionally until veggies done   
Add a little water to keep mix moist
Grate 1/2 raw potato into mix
Stir until it forms meat-sauce-like
Line 5 -4" tart shells with dough & fill with meat mix
Egg wash edge
Cover with dough & seal
Egg wash the top
Bake @375* for 25 min
