PASTA RECIPE: Sun-Dried Tomato Pasta
Al Fredo with Shrimp
1/2-lb shrimp
8-black olives, pitted and sliced
1/4-onion, slivered
10-mushrooms, quartered
1-tbsp minced garlic
1/4 to 1/2-pint heavy cream
3-tbsp sun-dried
tomato pesto
12oz-penne noodles
Salt to taste
1-tbsp chili flakes (or to taste)
Cook penne according to instructions and set aside
Meanwhile, sauté mushrooms with onions and garlic
Salt to taste
Add shrimp and chili flakes
Sauté just until shrimp turns pink
Add remaining ingredients
Bring to a boil and reduce heat
Add cooked pasta and stir to coat
Serves 3-4
