Debbie's Baked Beans and Pineapple

1-tbsp cooking oil
1-cup chopped onions
1-14 oz can of deep browned beans in tomato sauce
1-19 oz can of red kidney beans
1-cup crushed pineapple
1/3-cup ketchup
1-tsp prepared mustard
½-cup packed brown sugar
1-tbsp instant bacon bits
¼-tsp Worcestershire sauce
¼-tsp salt
1/8-tsp pepper

Heat the oil in saucepan
Add onions and sauté slowly until limp
Put in 1 ½ quart casserole
Add remaining ingredients in order given
Stir to mix
Bake uncovered in 350* oven for 1 ½ hours until bubbly
Stir once or twice during baking

Serves 4-6

Note: I use real bacon instead of the bacon bits, and I just put everything (including the uncooked onion) in the slow cooker on high.
