SIDE DISH RECIPE:
Pineapple Pretzel Salad

1-cup crushed pretzels
1-stick butter or margarine, melted
1/2-cup sugar

1-8oz package cream cheese
1/2-cup sugar
1-16oz tub of whipped topping
1-20oz can drained crushed pineapple


Mix together the pretzels, butter and sugar
Spread on cookie sheet and bake 5-7 minutes at 350*F
Cream together the cream cheese, sugar and whipped topping
Fold in the drained pineapple
Fold in all but 1/2-cup of the pretzels
Sprinkle the last 1/2-cup of pretzels on top just before serving

Can be made the day before, but leave out the pretzels and add just before serving
