SIDE DISH RECIPE:
Sliced
Baked Potatoes
4 medium potatoes
1 tsp salt
2-3 tbsp. melted butter
2-3 tbsp. chopped fresh herbs (parsley, chives, thyme, sage) (or 2-3 tsp dried herbs)
4 tbsp. grated cheddar
1-1/2 tbsp. Parmesan
Peel potatoes if skin is tough otherwise just wash
Cut potatoes in thin slices but not all the way through
Put potatoes in a baking dish.
Fan them slightly
Sprinkle with salt & drizzle with butter
Sprinkle with herbs
Bake @ 425* for about 50 mins
Remove from oven
Sprinkle with cheese
Bake potatoes for another 10-15 mins until lightly browned, cheeses are melted, &
potatoes are soft inside
Check with a fork
Can use caraway seeds or cumin in place of herbs
