Fresh Cranberry Salad

2-cups cranberries
3-cups miniature marshmallows
3/4-cup sugar
2-cups diced unpaired tart apples
1/2-cup seedless green grapes
1/2-cup broken walnuts
1/4-tsp salt
1-cup whipped cream
Grind cranberries (frozen ones grind easier)
Combine with marshmallows and sugar
Cover and chill overnight
Add apples, grapes, salt and walnuts
Fold in whipped cream and chill
