SLOW COOKER RECIPE: Pork and Veal with Sauerkraut


1-16oz can of sauerkraut
1-lb veal, cut into 1 1/2" cubes
1-lb pork, well-trimmed and cut into 1-1/2" cubes
1-16oz can diced tomatoes
1/2 -1-tsp caraway seed
1-cup sour cream
1/4-cup flour
2-tsp salt
1/8-tsp pepper


Rinse sauerkraut under cold water; drain well
Combine sauerkraut, veal, pork, canned tomatoes, and caraway seed in slow cooker
Stir well
Cover and cook on low for 6-12 hours
One hour before serving, combine sour cream, flour, salt, and pepper
Stir gently into slow cooker
Cover and cook until thickened
