SNACK RECIPES: Lunch Box Granola Bars

2/3-cup butter, softened
1/2-cup packed brown sugar
1/2-cup cornstarch
2-tsp vanilla
3-cup rolled oats
1/2-cup coconut
1/2-cup sunflower seeds
1/2-cup chopped pecans
1/4-cup sesame seeds
1/4-cup wheat germ
1/2-cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, or raisins

In bowl, cream butter, sugar, corn syrup, and vanilla until smooth
Stir in everything else
Firmly pat into well-greased and floured 13 x 9 inch cake pan
Bake@ 350* for 30-35 minutes until golden
Let cool completely in pan
Cut into bars
