SOUP RECIPE: Green Pea Soup

8-cups of cold water
1 large ham bone
1 can of chicken broth
2-1/2 cups dry green peas
2 medium onions
5-6 potatoes
2 large carrots
2 celery ribs
4 cloves of garlic

In Dutch oven, put ham bone in with cold water
Bring to a boil
Add the remaining ingredients
Cook until all breaks down, about 2 hours
Remove ham bone
Puree, and serve
